Exhibit Branding

The Shopping Town USA exhibit would walk visitors through the history of the modern mall—from its origins in the 1950s through its dominance in the 1960s and 1970s, and its eventual decline in the 1980s and 1990s. Visitors would be immersed in visuals of mall spaces, and their often spectacular interior design. By following the historic path of Victor Gruen, architect and “Father of the Shopping Mall,” visitors would experience the evolution of mall structures, merchandising, community, and culture.
